Technical Leader

Requirements

• More than 7 years of experience in software development
• More than 3 years of experience leading development teams
• Excellent management of front-end technologies (Next.js/React, TypeScript/JavaScript), including a deep understanding of the life cycle, states, props, rendering, hydration, and event handling
• Management of back-end technologies (NodeJS, NestJS, Express), including knowledge of software architecture, databases, authentication/authorization, and security
• Advanced knowledge of pre-processors CSS on the server-side, such as LESS or SASS (including animations, transitions, and microinteractions)
• Broad knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySql, Postgres, MongoDB)
• Advanced knowledge of SEO concepts, accessibility, and good practices
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience with CMSs for dynamic site development
• Experience working with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Experience performing Code Review of other developers' code
• Ability to provide constant feedback to teams and colleagues, prioritizing continuous improvement
• Experience working with GIT
• English (minimum B2)

Responsibilities

• Define the technological stack for different projects
• Lead teams of 2-6 developers
• Ensure project quality, validating clean and efficient code, prioritizing application performance
• Plan, delegate, and assign tasks with the PM of the team
• Review product and process metrics, seeking continuous improvement
• Provide technical solutions to complex problems, unlocking the development team's path
• Be a technical reference within the company
• Work closely with Engineering Managers and other Tech Leads

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ReactNative
• Knowledge of React Query, Apollo, Tailwind, Styled Components
• Experience with testing tools (Unit Testing, end-to-end testing, etc)
