Technical Leader

Summary

Join Litebox, a digital boutique agency in Argentina, as a Tech Lead! You will be a key player, leading teams of 2-6 developers and defining the technological stack for various projects. This role requires extensive experience in software development and team leadership, along with strong front-end and back-end skills. You'll ensure high-quality code, plan and delegate tasks, and provide technical solutions. Requirements

• More than 7 years of experience in software development
• More than 3 years of experience leading development teams
• Very good handling of front-end technologies (Next.js/React, TypeScript/JavaScript), including a deep understanding of the life cycle, states, props, rendering, hydration and event handling
• Management of back-end technologies (NodeJS, NestJS, Express), including knowledge of software architecture, databases, authentication/authorization and security
• Advanced knowledge of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS or SASS (including animations, transitions and micro-interactions)
• Extensive knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySql, Postgres, MongoDB)
• Advanced knowledge of SEO concepts, Accessibility and application of best practices
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience with CMSs for the development of dynamic sites
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience performing Code Review of other developers' code
• Ability to give constant feedback to their teams and coworkers, with the objective of prioritizing continuous improvement
• Experience working with GIT
• English (minimum B2)

Responsibilities

• Define the technological stack of different projects
• Lead teams of 2-6 developers
• Guarantee the quality of projects, validating that there is clean and efficient code, prioritizing the performance of the applications
• Plan, delegate and assign tasks together with the PM of the team
• Review metrics in the product and processes, always looking for continuous improvement
• Provide technical solutions to complex problems, unlocking the path of the development team
• Be a technical referent within the company
• Work side by side with Engineering Managers and other Tech Leads

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ReactNative
• Knowledge about React Query, Apollo, Tailwind, Styled Components
• Experience with testing tools (Unit Testing, end-to-end testing, etc)
