Summary
Join BlueConic, a high-growth SaaS company, as a Technical Product Owner responsible for our CDP product offering and its implementation. You will manage the product backlog, work closely with engineers, designers, and QA, and communicate with stakeholders to understand market needs. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in technical product ownership or software design, strong understanding of REST APIs, and knowledge of data platforms. You will be deeply involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from backlog refinement to release validation. The position offers opportunities for career advancement and is based in the Netherlands (office/hybrid in Nijmegen or fully remote within the NL or UK). Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical product ownership or software design, including strong experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and how they work
- Knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or others
- Fluency with data, including experience with data analytics and the ability to manipulate data to gain insights
- Technical proficiency for tools in marketing technology, advertising technology, CRM, and/or customer analytics
- Deep familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, Python and mobile technologies
- Impeccable organizational and time management skills
- Superlative communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Responsibilities
- Manage and refine the product backlog
- Clearly express and prioritize product backlog items to best achieve goals and deliver value
- Work closely with a team of Architects, Software Engineers, UX designers, and QA Engineers
- Work closely with the Product Manager to understand the roadmap and translating roadmap items into technical user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Lead and participate in refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Ensure the engineering team is aligned and understands the technical aspects of the tasks at hand
- Understand and internalize the product vision, and being available and approachable for your team at all times
- Ensure the quality of the releases by testing, validating, and accepting the work done
- Have a proactive role in continually improving the process
