Summary

Join Airbnb's Marketing Technology team as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) and contribute to building a best-in-class platform and internal tooling. Partner with Product, Design, Creative, Marketing, and Marketing Technology teams to deliver no-code vehicles and associated infrastructure for launch marketing campaigns. Lead collaboration on custom-built pages and impact every person who travels or hosts on Airbnb. This cross-organizational role requires close collaboration with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams. The mission is to enable marketing and product teams to deliver highly personalized marketing campaigns. You will operate as an individual contributor and a cross-functional leader.

Requirements

BA/BS degree, 9+ years technical project management or relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive initiatives that maximize performance, stability, and efficiency across growth initiatives
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and machine learning teams to deliver on critical programs that empower teams to iterate quickly
  • Increase team productivity by removing obstacles and keeping processes lean
  • Maintain urgency by ensuring there is strong collaboration within multiple parts of the organization who may have competing priorities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, and find new ways of operating, with a focus on simplification and productivity
  • Provide roadmap and program updates to ensure leaders are aware of delivery risks and opportunities
  • Drive accountability and ownership in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technical integrations requiring data informed decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions. You can take a vague problem, crisply frame the challenge, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish-line
  • Self-motivated, proactive and proven ability to adapt well and work with teams having different operating cadences
  • Experience developing lean processes, and demonstrated flexibility to get things done
  • Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups is imperative
  • Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies with minimal lag time
  • Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
