Technical Program Manager

Summary

Join Twilio as a Technical Program Manager to support the InfoSec organization in delivering value through strategic projects and programs. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coaching agile teams to improve their delivery methods. Leverage project management principles (SAFe and Agile) to drive best practices and value-driven project delivery. Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by providing regular status updates and monitoring project performance. Manage risks, dependencies, and issues, removing impediments to timely project completion. Drive decision-making through effective communication and inclusive meetings. This remote role is based in the UK and may require occasional travel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience across the InfoSec project lifecycle for process improvement, policy, infosec domains, or application projects
• Experience working with Agile projects and an understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent ability to manage multiple project initiatives to lead a team to execute and deliver on project level tasks
• Strong skills and experience developing integrated project structures, milestones and schedules with the ability to identify and resolve project risk and dependencies
• High-level understanding information security domains, ideally with deeper working knowledge in one or more domains
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience applying these to stakeholder communications

Responsibilities

• Project manage multiple, simultaneous initiatives while working alongside members of the InfoSec team and other Twilio teams from project inception to completion
• Support functional teams as a team coach to enable delivery of value across the InfoSec organization by enabling teams to work in a more mature, consistent manner
• Leverage the Project Management (including SAFe and Agile mindset) principles throughout the project lifecycle to drive the team towards best practices and value driven project delivery
• Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by providing status and monitoring of project progression and performance
• Manage risk, dependencies, and issues during project execution and lead the team to remove impediments in a timely manner
• Drive decision-making by communicating goals and objectives; run inclusive, productive, and impartial meetings to ensure implementation or closure of actions

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically has Bachelor's (or equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience; or Master's (or equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or other related project management certification
• Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CompTIA Security+ or other related certifications
• Experience using Atlassian or other enterprise collaboration tools for project management or software development
• Experience working with information security teams focused on securing cloud environments
