Summary

Join Roofr as a Technical Recruiter and lead the full-cycle recruitment process for critical technical roles. You will be responsible for sourcing top talent, managing candidate relationships, and collaborating with hiring managers. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in technical recruiting, a proven track record of successfully filling high-level engineering and technical positions, and expertise in passive candidate sourcing. This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, provide expert guidance to hiring managers, and build strong relationships with candidates. You will also track and analyze key recruiting metrics to continuously improve the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in full cycle technical recruiting, with a focus on senior-level engineering roles
  • Proven expertise in passive candidate sourcing and building pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and skills, including software development, systems architecture, QA, and leadership positions
  • Experience with Greenhouse and sourcing tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates for senior-level engineering roles, including Managers, Team Leads, Architects, and QA
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and industry networking, to build a robust pipeline of top-tier technical talent
  • Conduct talent mapping and maintain an ongoing database of potential candidates for future hiring needs
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements, develop tailored job descriptions, and create strategic recruitment plans
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing and candidate selection
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with the company’s values
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to candidates, providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the hiring process
  • Track and analyze key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality, to continuously improve the recruitment process
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
