Summary

The Quoting Specialist/Technical Sales Coordinator role at Xometry involves supporting the Sales team by handling quote requests, data entry, reviewing RFQ documents, engaging with sales personnel, and performing customer support. The ideal candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-related field, possess technical aptitude, knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, a manufacturing background, excellent communication skills, demonstrated attention to detail, and previous experience with high-volume data entry and management.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry into Xometry Quote Platform
• Retrieve Quote Request information from both Automated and Manual channels
• Organize information for engineering review
• Dimension Drawing review
• RFQ document comprehension
• CAD file review
• Engage with Sales personnel for document clarification and correction
• Complete online and offline templates with available information
• Produce DRAFT quotes per approved methodology
• Present / Submit DRAFT quotes to Quote Engineers
• Maintain quote databases in a real time basis
• Review and set-up custom quotes using Xometry’s platform
• Review 3D models and 2D drawings for the purpose of quoting and design-for-manufacturing feedback
• High-volume data entry, transfer, and management
• Performs all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies and procedures
• Customer Support Responsibilities
• Review Salesforce Cases and Emails for service requests
• Answer requests whenever possible
• Direct requests to subject matter experts as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferably in a manufacturing or technology related field
• Technical aptitude to pick up general technical aspects of various manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is a plus
• Previous experience with high-volume data entry and management
• High energy and comfortable interfacing with coworkers
