Technical Writer

Summary

The job description is for a Technical Writer position at Echo360, a provider of advanced video content management and engagement solutions. The role is fully remote and requires a bachelor's degree, 3-6 years of technical writing experience, and proficiency with technical writing tools. The ideal candidate will develop user guides, release notes, and API documentation, manage stakeholders, and define and track key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3-6 years of technical writing experience, with at least 3 years working on SaaS products
• Proven track record of successfully writing and maintaining documentation for complex products in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear user guides
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency with technical writing tools (e.g., Zendesk, Confluence, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically, managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the products and communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Work with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and consistency in the documentation
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure documentation success and impact. Utilize data analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions and iterate on documentation set

Passion for education technology and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the corporate L&D and higher education space

Benefits

• The base salary range for this position is $65,000 – 79,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors
