Summary

As a Technical Writer, you will create and maintain documentation for node operators, write technical guides, API docs, and tutorials, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical environment
  • Ability to construct complex narratives and convey difficult ideas simply and clearly
  • Strong writing skills
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
  • Experienced with one or more of the following coding languages: Java, JavaScript, Go, Swift, Rust, C++
  • Operating System experience with Linux/Unix
  • Prior experience with node operations

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain documentation for Hedera node operators
  • Write, edit, review, and publish technical documentation for a developer audience
  • Manage and respond to incoming GitHub issues from the community
  • Write clear and concise documentation for internal and external audiences
  • Continually ensure document quality, organization, and improve the developer experience
  • Monitor communication channels (Slack/Discord) for documentation improvement
  • Grasp complex technologies with a strong analytical and technical aptitude
  • Work collaboratively between Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Marketing teams
