Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of technical writing experience (software/SaaS preferred)
• Proficiency in documentation tools and creating visual aids (screenshots/video)
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills; ability to explain complex ideas clearly

Responsibilities

• Create & Update Documentation: Develop user guides, API docs, FAQs, release notes, and more; revise as features evolve
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with engineers, product managers, and QA to gather information and align content with product updates
• User-Focused Content: Translate complex technical concepts into accessible guides for property managers, field technicians, and administrators
• Quality & Consistency: Maintain a style guide, ensure consistent terminology, and conduct usability checks
• Content Management: Use version control and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, Git) to organize and manage documentation
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on technical writing best practices and implement new methods for delivering content
