This position is ideal for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who can leverage extensive executive-level and deep customer relationships to identify and seize future opportunities for Datacom.

Requirements

  • A love of building and maintaining lasting relationships with key decision makers
  • Deep business understanding of end-to end sales to delivery cycle
  • Ability to lead and story tell at presentations and confidently sell Datacoms offerings
  • Ability to write high quality proposal documents
  • Strong consultative, strategy and planning skills
  • Financial/commercial/contractual analysis, management, and governance
  • Commercial and Contractual acumen
  • Demonstrated Negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and execution of acquisition for new customers that contributes to our revenue position
  • Focus on new customer acquisition and the growth within our existing portfolio
  • Manage and create customer partnerships with Datacom
  • The Customer Partnerships Lead will have a customer focused/market facing priority, with the goal to develop long term quality engagements with typically large public and private New Zealand organisations
  • Building value-based relationships in our accounts whilst developing key relationships (and ecosystems) that strategically enable you to deliver on Datacom objectives
  • Ensure all delivery is well planned and executed with excellence
  • Ensuring the right people, commercials and governance are in place to deliver successfully to our customers
  • Consistently and sustainably delivering on commitments made to customers (time, cost, and quality)
  • Managing customer contract issues and resolutions to minimise negative impacts to both Datacom and our customers
