TechOps Lead

Summary

Join Ocrolus' TechOps team as a TechOps Lead, providing 24/7/365 technical support and maintaining strong relationships with employees and stakeholders. You will manage and lead a team of engineers, overseeing various IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical support, network administration, and project management skills. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting network infrastructure, creating firewall rules, and managing TechOps software solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, team player, and confident leader with strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Managing and leading TechOps Engineers
• Managing a wide variety of TechOps systems and infrastructure including PXE servers, proxies, disk image deployment, CCTV systems, and physical access control
• Hands-on triage and technical support for Windows, Linux, and macOS devices
• Implementing, managing, and supporting network infrastructure including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls
• Creating and managing firewall rules, policies, and exceptions
• Supporting TechOps software solutions like VPN, MDM, and Antivirus
• Good understanding of hardware and software debugging
• Asset and inventory management
• Help with internal IT audits
• Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and overseeing assigned work for TechOps team members
• Use team resources to accomplish higher-level objectives assigned by TechOps management

Preferred Qualifications

• Good to have skills: Project management, documentation, policy writing, asset management, scripting, or engineering experience
• Personality Traits: Self-starter, team player, confident, customer-focused. Curious, knowledgeable, adaptable, willing to learn, and a “lead from the front” leadership style
