Requirements
- At least 4 to 6 Years of professional experience in People Operations or Human Resources function
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office suite. Experience with Oracle HCM Preferred
- Experience managing immigration cases
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify HR solutions that align with business needs and drive organizational effectiveness
- Partner closely with the people team and cross-functional stakeholders to implement and continuously refine people operational processes and services with a focus on scalability, simplicity, and employee experience
- Maintain existing people operations process documents and recommend improvements
- Serve as a consultant and trusted advisor on all HR matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
- Foster positive employee relations by providing guidance, counseling, and support to managers and employees
- Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Support all aspects of HR compliance, including regular policy and document reviews, assisting with internal and external audits, and completing annual business surveys and EEO Reporting
- Assist with policy writing or revisions as needed and ensure the organizationβs People policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, and recommended best practices
- Leverage people technology tools to create automations and efficiencies in day-to-day processes
- Support and mentor members of the people operations team by sharing best practices and partnering to solve issues as they arise
- Prepare regular HR reports and metrics to provide meaningful insights to management
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, talent management, and organizational development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and reliability
- Proven ability to navigate complex and/or ambiguous systems
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously
