Test Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Quality Engineer and work remotely from Brazil! You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand functionalities and implement comprehensive tests. Ensure the quality and safety of tests, monitor their effectiveness, and provide quality reports. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and incident prevention. This role requires strong testing experience (manual and automation), JavaScript proficiency, and familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Javascript for testing and NodeJS and React applications
• Strong experience with testing (manual and automation)
• Strong experience with manually testing Web and API technologies
• Experience working with test management
• Experience creating, maintaining and working with test automation tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools (e.x. Jmeter, K6)
• Experience with testing and delivering SaaS products
• Able to connect best practices with the daily activites

Responsibilities

• Automate tests through the use of test automation tools
• Interact with the Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles
• Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy
• Participate in technical discussions with the customer
• Coordinate with the development team to drive product quality
• Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA)
• Continuously improve the automation, speed, quality, and ease of testing
• Create Test Cases and execute manual tests
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation frameworks/tools
• Experience with Database scripting
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS
