Trading Operations Specialist

Summary

Join Keyrock's Americas-based trading operations team as a dedicated Trading Operations Specialist. You will play a crucial role in managing digital asset and fiat trade settlements, ensuring timely and accurate processes. Responsibilities include trade reconciliation, treasury management, liaising with internal and external counterparties, asset rebalancing, managing banking beneficiaries, and monitoring client margin positions. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and provide support to the development team. This role requires 3+ years of trading operations experience, a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a passion for digital assets. Requirements

• Have 3+ years of prior trading and/or trading operations experience - with settlements and trading reconciliation at its core, and a strong preference if that included crypto assets
• Have experience working in a crypto or tradfi banking environment across multiple currencies and managing different forms of money transfers/wires – with experience in managing clearing/settlement within cutoff times
• Have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field e.g., Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, etc
• Be based in the Americas geography
• Possess extremely strong attention to detail
• Be self-organized and have excellent communication skills
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrate a passion for digital assets and blockchain technologies, and an understanding of asset transfers across CEXes and DEXes
• Be adaptable and a strong team player, whilst working in a fast paced environment
• Be fluent in English
• Have strong Excel skills and the ability to reconcile, track and present asset treasury and balances to internal and external counterparties

Responsibilities

• Manage digital asset and fiat related trade settlement and communicate with internal and external trading counterparties to ensure timely and accurate settlements
• Perform trade reconciliation from post trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement
• Keep track of the treasury, and liaise with the trading and finance teams on accounting for asset balances across operations
• Liaise internally with the wider trading, OTC and options teams on balances and settlement status, and provide administrative and client communication support where needed
• Perform asset rebalancing and whitelisting of crypto addresses across multiple CEXs and DEXs; across multiple platforms
• Manage and add new banking beneficiaries, and support trading desks with fiat transfers and settlements. Liaise with Keyrock’s account managers at banks on confirming cut-off times, fees and any troubleshooting of banking services
• Track and alert internal and external client margin and net open positions, and liaise with clients on transfer of assets to maintain margin thresholds
• Keep track of and report technical and financial problems and provide support to the dev team for improvements and automating processes
• Monitor and project manage internal operations ticketing processes and work with trading teams to streamline and improve these
• Oversee and help enhance the collection, documentation and organising of external counterparty FX and OTC related trade data for purposes of internal cost and best execution tracking
• Help improve the efficiency and design of a more streamlined trade reporting and post-trade settlement procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Have familiarity with Python and SQL languages; and experience with querying database trade data and generating reports and dashboards
