Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Advanced or proficient knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and multi-deadline-driven environment
  • Efficient and analytical with the ability to self-manage while contributing to a positive work environment
  • Must be a team player who naturally collaborates with others (at all levels) and doesnโ€™t hesitate to engage other teams to achieve the best results
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to find innovative ways of processing client information into auctions

Responsibilities

  • Strategically divide (i.e., โ€œlotsโ€) master files of inventory into discrete auctions utilizing industry standards to maximize recovery and/or velocity depending on client needs
  • Document and report department and team member metrics, including, but not limited to, auctions reviewed, errors made, and classification of errors
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making competencies to approve or review auctions related to shipping information, item condition, lot composition, and scheduling
  • Determine and execute the best workflow to ensure auctions are created and reviewed within 24 hours of receipt from the client
  • Foster productive communication with Account Managers to work together in crafting custom strategies that exceed client expectations while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Cultivate positive client relationships by acting as a strategic business partner on behalf of the department and company
  • Provide recommendations for improvement to existing technological tools to accommodate changes made by the client and/or improve the functionality and efficiency of the tools
  • Identify and submit process bottlenecks to management for greater visibility and coordination across departments, and to develop and implement solutions
  • Create Microsoft Excel macros to automate consistently repeated steps in listing or QA processes
  • Assist in onboarding new sellers/locations and streamlining processes
  • Provide expanded support to process and/or review additional auctions sent late by important clients as needed
  • Execute ongoing and intermittent projects to the benefit of clients and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience related to online eCommerce, Marketplace or B2B platform sales such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and Woocommerce
  • Knowledge of Python, MySQL, Ruby, or other popular programming languages
  • Prior work experience in HTML and Magento
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or an equivalent combination of education or experience
