Summary

Join Keyrock's dynamic trading operations team as a Trading Operations Intern and support our mission to optimize liquidity and enhance market efficiency in the digital asset ecosystem. This internship offers hands-on experience in trading operations, data analysis, and process optimization, working closely with traders, quants, and tech teams. You'll gain valuable skills in trading systems, blockchain technology, and financial operations, contributing to Keyrock’s growth. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital assets. This is a 6-month paid internship in a busy trading office of a market-leading crypto company, providing the freedom to create your own entrepreneurial experience.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and DeFi, with a basic understanding of digital asset markets or a willingness to learn rapidly
  • Comfort with data analysis and problem-solving, ideally with exposure to Python, SQL, R, or similar tools for processing market data
  • A meticulous approach to monitoring trades and operational processes, ensuring accuracy in a high-stakes environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional proficiency in English
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude, thriving in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with flexible working hours

Responsibilities

  • Trade settlement and communication with internal and external trading counterparties to ensure timely and accurate settlements
  • Trade reconciliation from post trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement
  • Liaising internally with the wider trading and other teams, OTC and options teams on balances and settlement status, and providing administrative support where needed
  • Asset rebalancing and whitelisting of crypto addresses across multiple CEXs and DEXs
  • Helping improve and contributing to the design of a more streamlined trade reporting and post-trade settlement procedures
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recording and transmission of required customer information in accordance with the FATF Travel Rule
  • Liaise with Compliance to help maintain compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations
  • Accurately record and maintain transaction data, including sender and beneficiary information
  • Utilize Travel Rule compliance software and tools to manage and track data
  • Investigate and report suspicious transactions in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with crypto exchanges (e.g., Binance, Kraken, Uniswap), knowledge of market making, or exposure to algorithmic trading concepts
