Summary

Join Lumata Health as a Training Specialist to develop and maintain training programs for Care Coaches, ensuring they are prepared to meet their roles' demands. This position requires 1-3 years of experience in care management, case management, or as a trainer/super-user, proficiency in working with multiple software platforms, and strong data analysis skills.

Requirements

  • Healthcare licensure or certification (Ophthalmology experience preferred: COA, COT, COMT)
  • 1–3 years Preferred experience in care management, case management, or as a trainer/super-user
  • Proficiency in working with multiple software platforms
  • Experience with CRM or omni-channel service platforms preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and related compliance/billing requirements
  • Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training content aligned with Lumata’s standards and mission
  • Identify and address training needs within the Clinical Operations department
  • Resolve training-related issues and adapt programs as necessary
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with leadership, management, and team members
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance and tailor training programs
  • Ensure open and effective communication channels with new hires
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions according to Lumata’s standards
  • Uphold and model Lumata Core Values in daily tasks and interactions
  • Communicate quality and productivity expectations to new hires
  • Evaluate new hire performance within their first 30 days and provide necessary feedback and adjustments
  • Identify those who do not meet expectations and provide ongoing training and support as needed
  • Track and report on new hire performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Conduct orientation and arrange training schedules
  • Set up shadowing opportunities with seasoned team members
  • Ensure completion of all required training and skills check-offs before transitioning new hires to team pods
  • Develop and implement individualized training plans based on new hire needs and progress
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and answer queries from team members
  • Ensure a smooth transition for new hires into Lumata and remote work environments
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and new hire folders
  • Address performance issues promptly and provide actionable feedback to support improvement
