Transportation Coordinator

You will oversee day-to-day transportation operations, creating, overseeing, and auditing shipments. Responsibilities include quoting, booking, and tracking inbound POs, updating shipment status, auditing invoices, and coordinating with customer service. You will also assist with BOL creation, outbound scheduling, and parcel network monitoring. The role requires 2+ years of detail-oriented office work experience, competence with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and a willingness to learn new programs. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with detail-oriented office work is preferred
• Competence with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook is required
• Willingness to self-learn additional programs and technical skills

Responsibilities

• Quote, book, and track inbound POs
• Update shipment status in Netsuite, communicate delays or short shipments with the supply chain team, and troubleshoot any delays or missed pickups
• Audit and approve inbound transportation invoices
• File and track claims for damages on inbound POs
• Coordinate with customer service to resolve small issues and escalate larger issues
• Enter and track shipments in the Emerson temp tracker portal
• Create parcel labels in Shipstation
• Assist the team  with BOL creation, outbound scheduling, and parcel network monitoring when needed
• Rotate on-call with the other two members of the transportation team
• Continually integrate AI processes into your workflow and to simplify IT for the organization, so you can spend time on the most meaningful work
• Other duties as assigned
