Travel Agent

Summary

Join BizAway, a rapidly growing international B2B scale-up, as a German-speaking Travel Agent. You will be responsible for managing client reservations, responding to inquiries via phone, chat, and email, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires at least one year of experience in the travel industry, knowledge of GDS systems or experience in a local travel agency, excellent German language skills (B2 and above), and shift availability. Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous experience in the Travel Industry
• Basic knowledge of GDS systems or previous experience in a local travel agency
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken German (B2 and up)
• Availability to work in shifts (also night shift from 22 to 7 in the morning)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass pre-employment skills testing and background check

Responsibilities

• Make reservations for clients through the platform and using our providers
• Respond to client requests through phone, chat, mail, and travel requests via our platform
• Enter customer information into our system to issue reservations or update bookings
• Explain rules and procedures for using our service on the platform
• Explain rules of service (hotel, car, train, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication skills in English
• Customer Care experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
