Travel And Expense Analyst

Summary

Join Samsara as an Expense Analyst II and manage the daily operations of our travel and expense management process. This remote position, based in Mexico, requires auditing expense reports, ensuring compliance, and providing employee support. You will review and resolve discrepancies, update SOPs, conduct efficiency checks, and act as the first point of contact for inquiries. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant years of experience equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting expense and or travel management or related role
• Microsoft Excel -Proficency level

Responsibilities

• Review and audit expense reports for accuracy and compliance
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing
• Follow and update SOPs for expense management
• Conduct routine checks for operational efficiency
• Act as the first point of contact for travel and expense inquiries
• Provide support, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters as needed
• Ensure adherence to T&E policies
• Guide and educate employees on expense submission and policy
• Manage expense systems (e.g., Expensify, SAP Concur)
• Assist with updates and support for system use
• Maintain records of audits and support interactions
• Prepare and distribute expense management reports and compliance documentation
