Travel Specialist

Summary

Join Ventura TRAVEL, a group of specialized travel brands, as a Travel Specialist inspiring German-speaking customers to explore South America. You will design and sell high-quality group trips, manage trip preparation, and provide excellent customer service. Expertise in South America, particularly Ecuador & Galapagos, is crucial. Based in Berlin or remotely, you'll achieve sales goals and collaborate with the team. Ventura offers a creative work environment, team events, global opportunities, and profit-sharing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience, preferably in sales and/or the tourism industry in group travel
• Native-level oral and written German (at least C1)
• Passion for customer service and sales
• Travel experience to South America, especially Ecuador & Galapagos
• Fluent oral and written English
• Positive attitude and ability to handle busy times

Responsibilities

• Sell travel adventures in South America to travelers over the phone and by email
• Set up and optimize the presentation of travel products on the website
• Guide travelers before and after their trips by phone and email
• Coordinate reservations with the flights department and local service providers
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for and previous experience in the travel industry
• Living experience in South America and command of Spanish
• Advanced software skills
