Summary
Join Morgan & Morgan as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Northern California, ideally working remotely from San Francisco or Sacramento. You will handle personal injury accident cases, including trial preparation, depositions, settlements, and trials. You'll receive support from a team of pre-suit attorneys, case managers, and seasoned trial partners. The firm offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary, guaranteed and ongoing commission, and a full benefits package. This is a fully remote position with some travel expected. The role requires managing a high volume of litigation cases and taking them to trial, while providing excellent client service.
Requirements
- Law degree (J.D. / JD / Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the California Bar Association
- Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases and take them to trial
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of PI liability cases in litigation in and around the Northern California area particularly Sacramento and San Francisco
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda of law
- Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally 3+ years of PI litigation experience (motor vehicle / automobile liability / MVA)
