UI Programmer

Summary

Join CD PROJEKT RED in Boston as a UI Programmer to work on Cyberpunk 2! You will design and implement user interfaces, maintain and optimize existing systems, create new UI features, and implement tools for UI artists and designers. This role requires at least 3 years of professional game programming experience, proficiency in C++, Unreal Engine knowledge, and UI design pattern understanding. Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry
• Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of user interface design patterns
• Understanding of algorithms and code architecture
• Debugging and optimization skills
• Understanding player needs in terms of user interface of modern video games
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Taking part in the design and implementation of user interfaces
• Maintenance and optimization of existing systems
• Creating new features for the user interface framework
• Implementing tools for UI artists and designers
• Tracking and fixing bugs in game user interface and user interface framework
• Completing tasks on time and creating high quality code

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Common UI and MVVM in Unreal
