UI Programmer

Summary

Join CD PROJEKT RED as a UI Programmer to work on Cyberpunk 2, the next mainline Cyberpunk 2077 game. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining user interface features. This role involves designing and implementing user interfaces, maintaining and optimizing existing systems, creating new features, implementing tools for UI artists and designers, and tracking and fixing bugs. You will need at least 3 years of professional experience in game programming, proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine, and knowledge of UI design patterns. The position offers a choice between remote-first or office-first working modes, with flexible working hours. Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry
• Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of user interface design patterns
• Understanding of algorithms and code architecture
• Debugging and optimization skills
• Understanding player needs in terms of user interface of modern video games
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Taking part in the design and implementation of user interfaces
• Maintenance and optimization of existing systems

• Tracking and fixing bugs in game user interface and user interface framework
• Completing tasks on time and creating high quality code
