Summary
Join our team as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and contribute to critical issues involving the proliferation of nuclear, chemical & biological weapons. You will have opportunities to work on various projects, acquire on-the-job training, and pursue your own research in related fields.
Requirements
- Be a current Middlebury undergraduate
- Be located in the U.S
- Excellent writing and analysis skills
- General knowledge of WMD nonproliferation issues
Responsibilities
- Work remotely on databases, website publications, fact sheets, analytical issue briefs, geolocation of WMD facilities worldwide, development of country and entity profiles, collating images of missiles and other WMD-relevant objects while tracking sources and copyright restrictions, developing case studies of illicit trade and procurement based on court cases, etc
- Maintain and provide content for a WordPress site related to trading compliance (export controls, sanctions, etc.)
