Underwriting Support Specialist

Summary

Join our in-house underwriting team at Octopus Electric Vehicles as we build policies, processes, and tech tools to efficiently assess credit risk. We're hiring an Underwriting Support Specialist to support the wider Underwriting team.

Requirements

• Willingness to get hands on with administrative tasks to support the Credit Underwriting team
• Ability to manage mailboxes and liaise with internal teams and third parties
• Experience working in a hands-on Credit or Financial Administrator role would be an advantage
• Knowledge of credit policies would be beneficial
• Experience in vehicle leasing would be an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities

• Support in governance of credit portfolio to ensure controls are in place and compliant to credit policy
• Support in management of Credit team inboxes
• Triage credit related queries that come to the team, such as credit uplifts, credit blocks, credit renewals and third party queries
• Support with management of third parties and providing required information to support with underwriting and credit renewals
