Summary

Join our team as a User Research Intern and contribute to impactful product decisions. This 4-month remote internship, based in Ontario, Canada, starting September 8, 2025, will have you assisting in user research activities, recruiting participants, organizing and analyzing data, and improving our research infrastructure. You will support the planning and coordination of user research sessions, help with participant sourcing and compensation, identify patterns in research findings, and maintain our research repository. The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in user research and UX, along with experience in research methodologies. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. This role offers a chance to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Sociology, etc.) or some proven related work experience
  • Strong interest in user research, UX, and product development
  • Some academic and/or practical experience with research methodologies such as interviews, surveys, desktop research or competitive intelligence
  • Moderate to high proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to structure information into clear, accurate and compelling deliverables
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you’re prepared to own your tasks from beginning to end, think creatively, seek new and better ways of doing things, adapt to evolving circumstances, identify issues and opportunities, and tackle them proactively

Responsibilities

  • Assist in User Research Activities: Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of user research sessions, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys
  • Recruit Participants: Help with participant sourcing, screening, scheduling, and compensation
  • Data Organization & Analysis: Support data analysis by identifying patterns in qualitative and quantitative research findings and structuring observations into reports, presentations and lists
  • Research Enablement: Maintaining and improving our research infrastructure, including the research repository, templates, research tools and Slack channel, ensuring all research materials are easily accessible, reusable and actionable
  • Process improvement: Identify new ways to level up our research practice by sharing knowledge with the team, improving research processes, engaging the organization, and scaling our impact
