UX Designer

Summary

Join Swish Analytics, a sports analytics startup, as a UX Designer! You will collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to design user interfaces for our live trading platform and consumer-facing application. This remote position requires experience in UX design, proficiency in various methodologies, and the ability to conduct usability testing. You will create interactive prototypes, develop style guides, and manage design projects throughout the product lifecycle. A passion for accurate predictions and real-time data is essential. The salary range is $80,000-$105,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in UX design, showing proficiency in various methodologies and the ability to conduct usability testing, interviews, and surveys
• Proven track record of designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for live streaming platforms, with a deep understanding of real-time user interactions, and streaming technologies - (please submit portfolio with application)
• Ability to thrive, be flexible and deliver creative and quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas with confidence with senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Work within an Agile team setting to create compelling customer experiences by collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Frontend Engineers to convert research findings into detailed requirements or specifications, promoting a customer-focused strategy for product advancement
• Create interactive prototypes to share and explain your designs and micro interactions using Figma
• Develop style guides for multiple applications to provide consistency across projects
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes and visuals, delivering pixel-perfect mockups and design specs
• Manage design projects through the entire product lifecycle, overseeing multiple launches simultaneously
• Display a high-level of attention to detail in engineering implementation, and the ability to integrate into QA processes to ensure high quality execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of front end coding frameworks such as React is preferred
• Knowledgeable about sports, particularly football, basketball, and some interest in sports betting is desired but not mandatory
