Summary
Join PayPay's product team as a UX Writer and contribute to crafting user-friendly experiences across our apps and web services. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to create clear and engaging copy in Japanese. Support the senior UX Writer in ensuring PayPay's tone and style guide are consistently applied. You will create various types of text, including microcopy, push notifications, and emails. This role requires native-level Japanese skills and either 3+ years of English-Japanese translation experience or 2+ years of English-to-Japanese localization experience. Work remotely from anywhere in Japan with a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and propose user-friendly UX copy in Japanese for app and web service UI and guide pages
- Create, structure, and proofread UI text within the PayPay app, merchant app, and web tools
- Proofread English designs, create Japanese copy, and structure text
- Work with the senior UX Writer to create user-friendly UX writing that aligns with PayPay's tone and style
- Create various text for user communication, including microcopy, push notifications, and emails displayed in apps and web tools
- Propose optimal text for users, adhering to writing guidelines and design/development requirements
- Conduct internal and external research and use data to create text
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of websites and mobile apps (iOS/Android)
- Understanding of basic user flows and UI design
- Conversational and reading/writing level English skills
