Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI design with a focus on e-commerce platforms
- Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- In-depth understanding of e-commerce UX principles, including user research, conversion optimization, checkout flow design, and information architecture tailored to online shopping experiences
- Hands-on experience with UI design—creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and brand-consistent interfaces that enhance the customer journey and drive conversions
- Solid understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles
- Experience with e-commerce metrics such as cart abandonment, conversion rates, and user flows, using data to refine designs and improve the overall shopping experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS) and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams
- Experience with A/B testing and using insights to iterate on design elements that directly impact key business metrics like sales and user retention
- Experience in building and maintaining design systems, especially for e-commerce websites
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process with a strong focus on user experience
- Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to map out user flows and interactions
- Craft visually compelling UI elements, creating design systems, and ensuring consistency across all interfaces
- Work alongside developers, brand managers, and product owners to bring designs to life
- Conduct usability tests and iterate on designs to refine the user journey
- Ensure designs are accessible to all users, adhering to WCAG standards, and optimized for fast loading and responsive performance across all devices
- Develop and maintain a consistent design system
- Use analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to make informed design decisions and optimize the user experience
- Regularly monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design
- Partner with product, marketing, and tech teams to ensure the design vision aligns with business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility
- Provide clear and actionable design recommendations to stakeholders
