Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a focus on user research
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both UX and UI design, particularly in the SaaS or healthcare space
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Experience with user research methodologies, including but not limited to usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and personas
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and accessibility standards
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and research insights
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to delivery, creating high-quality wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and UI mockups for web and mobile applications
- Develop intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces that align with the product's objectives and the healthcare industryβs best practices
- Ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms, including responsive designs for desktop, mobile, and tablet
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements and user needs into functional, user-friendly designs
- Conduct iterative usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback and data
- Plan, execute, and analyze user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitor analysis
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that guide design decisions and product strategies
- Work with stakeholders to define research goals, identify target user groups, and prioritize research activities
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to ensure research insights are effectively incorporated into the product development cycle
- Track and analyze key metrics, such as user satisfaction, task success rates, and other usability indicators to continuously improve the user experience
- Work closely with other designers to maintain a cohesive design system and ensure consistency across all design deliverables
- Present and communicate design concepts and research findings to stakeholders, including executives and team members, in a clear and compelling way
- Support design reviews and collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices, especially as they relate to UX/UI design and healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare IT systems such as EHR/EMR, patient portals, or clinical workflows
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations or other healthcare privacy and security requirements
- Knowledge of user-centered design processes and Agile development methodologies
- A degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field is a plus
