Summary

Blavity Inc. is seeking a Vice President, AfroTech Sales to lead sales operations and grow revenue for the AfroTech brand. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in business development, people management, and revenue growth. This role is fully remote, U.S.-based, and offers an annual salary range of $170,000 - $200,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, brand building, people management and revenue growth
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience developing mid-level talent

Responsibilities

  • Achieve overall revenue goals, including the allocation of resources to achieve the quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Motivate, inspire and drive success through the Sales Team - leading with clarity and driving success through results
  • Lead from the front - this is a hands-on role working closely with the sales team and prospects
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and processes to achieve sales targets and expand agency relationships
  • Oversee and expand key external relationships to drive AfroTechโ€™s growth and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with brands and clients to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Identify, advocate, and improve brand values and identities, ensuring they are communicated across a variety of media and sales channels in a consistent and appealing manner
  • Identify new and emerging revenue opportunities and business lines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue while putting community first
  • Demonstrated skill in leading complex sales teams in a fast-paced environment, and in managing senior leaders and executives

  • Candidates must be available to work in at least 50% alignment with the Pacific Time Zone
  • The annual salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000
