Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in media relations, crisis management, and brand management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with Blackpoint Cyber's goals and vision
• Oversee all public relations and communications activities, including media and analyst relations, press releases, and crisis communications
• Manage and enhance the company’s brand image across various communication channels
• Lead Blackpoint's content strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand messaging
• Partner with People Operations to support internal communications, maintaining consistent and effective messaging across the organization
• Own Blackpoint's corporate and product messaging strategy and framework
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to support integrated communication efforts
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine communication strategies proactively
• Manage a team of communications and creative professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities
