Summary

Xometry is seeking a data scientist leader to manage its ML & data science research & development and evolve the services that make up the backbone of its business. The successful candidate will lead Xometry’s data science and machine learning teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and set priorities aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in applied math, computer science, natural sciences or engineering
• 10+ years of leadership experience in a data science, analytics & engineering environment
• E-commerce/marketplace experience required

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic leader as part of Xometry’s data science & machine learning team
• Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and set priorities aligned to business goals
• Lead complex, cross-team projects to deliver on Xometry’s product & ML strategy
• Develop and implement machine learning models that improve Xometry’s ability to predict cost, price, and sourcing options for customers and suppliers
