Requirements

  • A technical leader with strong business acumen and proven track record of driving high-performing teams in a mostly remote organization
  • At least 10 years experience and a proven reputation for developing innovative and successful commercial enterprise-level software
  • Experienced in delivering software following both continuous delivery of cloud solutions and cyclical releases of on-premises software
  • Extensive experience of Amazon Web Services and other cloud service providers
  • Experience of implementing and managing information security practices including risk management
  • Ability to attract and motivate industry-leading software development talent, keep them engaged and growing
  • Understanding of current Software Development technologies and a passion to explore the art of the possible
  • History of supporting customer and partner relationships
  • Experience with multi-geography, cross functional teams including partner staffing
  • Excellent communication skills with experience representing your company at industry events and meetups
  • Knowledge of the customer communication management, digital communication transformation, fintech and insurance technology markets

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate and refine an actionable technology strategy to enable the company to be successful in the geographies and markets we do business
  • Work as part of the executive team to develop product investment and release roadmaps
  • Be accountable for product design and development, with focus on on-time delivery, while meeting quality and performance objectives
  • Be able to work across three horizons: Modify existing capabilities in market, Develop new capabilities and identify future needs which require advanced R&D
  • Direct managers to optimize development through use of employees, contractors, and outsourcing as appropriate whilst defining metrics and measuring improvements
  • Define, plan and operate within budget and identify future funding needs
  • Drive a global culture of continuous improvement and team skills evolution
  • Collaborate with other product engineering teams within the company to evaluate and influence capabilities which will bring value to Engage to drive efficiencies and support innovation
  • Foster innovation, recruit industry leading talent, and recognize and reward top contributors
  • Ensure protection of the company’s Intellectual Property
  • Ensure all teams work within documented processes to support financial and certification audits
