Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
  • Second-line leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead leaders while driving alignment with strategic objectives
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling a sales engineering team in a high-growth environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop technical talent

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global solution engineering leadership team
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth, ensuring team members meet performance metrics
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their satisfaction and understanding of the value of Sprout’s platform
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their business goals through our platform
  • Collaborate with our CRO and other senior leaders to develop and implement sales strategies that leverage technical resources effectively
  • Partner with the sales team to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities, providing technical insights and strategic guidance
  • Work closely with our R&D department as the voice of the sales organization to provide strategic guidance on product roadmap
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position Sprout effectively in the market while providing strategic guidance on product direction
  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of the Solution Engineering go-to-market plan
  • Ensure alignment with sales objectives and customer needs to support business goals and drive revenue growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically with a strong understanding of business operations and a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Proven experience navigating complex sales processes and influencing decision-making at all levels

  • This role’s minimum On Target Earnings (“OTE”) is $288,000.00 USD annually. OTE is the sum of a fixed base salary plus incentives at target performance. Incentive compensation will vary based on performance. The minimum amount earned is the fixed base salary
  • Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprout’s equity plan
