Requirements
- Hold a BS and/or masterβs degree in finance, business, accounting, mathematics, or a related field
- Possess 15+ years of FP&A experience, preferably with a substantial portion in a growing, profitable, public biopharma company
- Demonstrate the ability to design and lead organizations through financial processes resulting in strategically aligned plans
- Demonstrate the ability to partner with colleagues at all levels and influence others without authority
- Possess outstanding analytical, modeling, problem-solving, listening, and communication skills
- Demonstrate a passion for identifying ways to fundamentally change the productivity of spend (dollars and time)
- Demonstrate the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be assertive when needed
- Exhibit unquestionable ethics and integrity
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to company leaders, understanding business drivers and influencing decision-making
- Lead annual financial planning processes, including long-range planning, budgeting, and budget updates, considering alternate scenarios and ensuring integration with other business processes and corporate strategy
- Lead monthly budget vs. actual reporting, analyzing variance root causes, and identifying solutions in partnership with the business
- Develop standard and ad-hoc management reports by identifying and tracking leading indicators and critical business drivers
- Lead a high-performing global FP&A team
- Collaborate seamlessly with other finance and G&A functions, including Accounting, Corporate Strategy, and Business Development
- Represent the Finance function in governance decision forums and steering committees
- Maximize the impact of financial systems
- Promote a mindset of simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement
