Requirements

  • Hold a BS and/or master’s degree in finance, business, accounting, mathematics, or a related field
  • Possess 15+ years of FP&A experience, preferably with a substantial portion in a growing, profitable, public biopharma company
  • Demonstrate the ability to design and lead organizations through financial processes resulting in strategically aligned plans
  • Demonstrate the ability to partner with colleagues at all levels and influence others without authority
  • Possess outstanding analytical, modeling, problem-solving, listening, and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a passion for identifying ways to fundamentally change the productivity of spend (dollars and time)
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be assertive when needed
  • Exhibit unquestionable ethics and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to company leaders, understanding business drivers and influencing decision-making
  • Lead annual financial planning processes, including long-range planning, budgeting, and budget updates, considering alternate scenarios and ensuring integration with other business processes and corporate strategy
  • Lead monthly budget vs. actual reporting, analyzing variance root causes, and identifying solutions in partnership with the business
  • Develop standard and ad-hoc management reports by identifying and tracking leading indicators and critical business drivers
  • Lead a high-performing global FP&A team
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other finance and G&A functions, including Accounting, Corporate Strategy, and Business Development
  • Represent the Finance function in governance decision forums and steering committees
  • Maximize the impact of financial systems
  • Promote a mindset of simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement
