Summary
Join Togetherwork as their new Vice President of Account Management to lead and grow their established enterprise-focused team. This role requires expanding the team to incorporate a programmatic approach for supporting numerous SMB SaaS clients, while also enhancing client relations and handling complex renewals. You will report directly to the CRO and guide strategic enterprise relationships and high-volume SMB programs. The ideal candidate is a builder who can refine, motivate, and scale within a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to elevate the account management function, align teams, and drive long-term retention and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and evolving the account management strategy into a fully scalable, customer-first program.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Experience, or Client Success, ideally in a SaaS environment
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or executive-level role
- Experience supporting both enterprise and SMB customers and scaling structure around both
- A proven track record of retention gains, program design, and team leadership
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive presence
- A people-first leadership style grounded in results, not ego
Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve a functional account management strategy into a fully scalable, customer-first program
- Support enterprise clients with white-glove service while introducing automation and one-to-many solutions for SMBs
- Own the renewal and retention process, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Build frameworks for account segmentation, QBRs, and customer lifecycle health tracking
- Lead with empathy, clarity, and confidence, guiding internal teams and client relationships alike
- Serve as a key advisor to the CRO and executive team on customer insights, risks, and growth opportunities
