Summary

ZephyrAI is a technology-led company focused on revolutionizing drug development in healthcare, specifically in the areas of oncology and cardiometabolic disease. They are hiring a Vice President of Business Development to lead their business expansion efforts, overseeing the Business Development Team and forming partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in genomics, oncology, or a related field, along with 10+ years of relevant experience in business development or related fields. They must possess strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel.

Requirements

• Ph.D. (preferred), M.S., or equivalent in genomics, oncology or a related field with a strong academic and research background
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business development, commercial sales or related fields
• Direct experience in driving partnerships in a connected industry – Drug Development in oncology, Precision Medicine, Health data, Clinical Genomics, Diagnostics with a proven track record
• Deep knowledge of pharma R&D, in oncology or cardiometabolic disease and a passion for advancing precision medicine in the field

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Business Development Team and the formation of Business partnerships
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical companies
• Lead the development and execution of business development initiatives, partnerships, and collaborations
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis within the oncology / cardiometabolic domain to identify growth opportunities
• Represent ZephyrAI at industry conferences, seminars, and events
