Requirements

  • 10+ years of game production experience, with 5+ in executive or senior leadership roles
  • Proven track record of managing multiple full-cycle game development projects across genres and platforms
  • Deep understanding of production methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid)
  • Experience working with and managing external/remote development teams and co-development partners
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, operational, and organizational acumen
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance creative ambition with technical and financial constraints
  • $170,000 - $260,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of current production pipelines and studio partnerships
  • Establish baseline KPIs for delivery timelines, quality, and team performance
  • Develop a strategic roadmap to scale production capabilities across all studios
  • Implement operational best practices and tools to streamline production across multiple titles
  • Deliver consistent, on-time, and on-budget releases in collaboration with studio heads and executive leadership
  • Improve production visibility and forecasting accuracy by 30%+ through data-driven reporting and planning systems
  • Oversee the day-to-day production of multiple game development studios, internal and external
  • Align teams to company objectives, ensuring creative vision is matched by effective execution
  • Build and mentor a high-performance production team; establish training, standards, and leadership development
  • Partner with Product, Creative, Marketing, and BizDev to ensure cross-functional alignment and timely deliverables
  • Identify production risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies
  • Drive accountability, agility, and clarity in game development workflows
  • Champion a player-first mindset and a culture of excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in live service (GaaS) and free-to-play game development, preferred
  • Familiarity with international markets and localization workflows, preferred
  • Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, or proprietary production tracking systems, preferred
  • Passion for gaming and deep familiarity with current industry trends and technologies, preferred
