Summary
Join Choreo, a wealth management firm, as their Vice President of Partner Development. This role is responsible for driving strategic development and refinement of business development efforts, managing and growing the alliance program with strategic partners (including CPA firms), and onboarding new partner firms. The VP will collaborate with the marketing team and advisors to develop partnerships and go-to-market plans. This position requires significant travel to partner offices and involves overseeing lead follow-up and partnership performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales and outreach, a strong understanding of the B2B environment, and a proven track record in wealth management or family offices.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution
- 15 years of proven experience in a sales and outreach role
- Prior Wealth Management or Family Office experience
- Thorough understanding of the B2B/Professional Service Environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills; quick to respond
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Highly motivated and target-driven individual
- Ability to travel an estimated 15% - 50%
Responsibilities
- Serve as key point of contact for alliance members, overseeing regular check-ins with alliance member leaders, communicating partnership successes, and addressing high-level concerns to keep these relationships healthy and productive
- Collaborate with the Choreo marketing team on alliance program growth strategy
- Assist advisor teams with leveraging opportunities with alliance program members
- Own logistics of telling the Choreo story to potential partners
- Manage onboarding of partner firms once they decide to join the alliance, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements associated with alliance membership
- Work with VP Advisory Services to establish clear standards and expectations for lead disposition and follow-up by advisors, and train advisors accordingly
- Regularly monitor adherence to follow-up protocols through accountability dashboards and reports, ensuring that each lead is fully optimized to enhance partnership value
- Use data insights from dashboards to assess partnership performance, identify areas needing support, and work with VP Advisory Services on strategies to help advisors deepen their relationships with alliance members
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA/CFP
- Prior work experience with CPA partners and firms
