MyFitnessPal is seeking a Vice President of Product Design to lead their product design, content design, and UX writing teams. Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Product Design with at least 10+ years of leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading high-velocity Design teams to have meaningful impact on the customer and the business
- Extensive experience leading consumer-facing Product Design design teams focused on native iOS and Android apps
Responsibilities
- Lead a talented, diverse, inclusive team of product and content designers that consistently deliver excellent end-to-end customer experiences
- Develop design talent and build a thriving culture where designers grow in their careers and feel a strong sense of inclusion and belonging
- Contribute to MyFitnessPal’s Product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive both short- and long-term impact
- Define and own the design direction for the full product experience, and influence MyFitnessPal’s brand direction
- Create operational excellence in the Product Design team (and beyond), with a focus on learning, feedback, and high-velocity iteration
- Partner closely with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Researchers, and Marketers to deliver high quality experiences for customers across markets, platforms and product surfaces
Benefits
- The reasonably estimated salary for this role at MyFitnessPal ranges from $200,000 - $275,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience
