Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in video content creation, social media management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts platforms
  • Excellent video editing and production skills with proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or other video editing software
  • Experience with social media analytics tools to measure and analyze content performance
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A creative mindset and the ability to develop engaging and unique content ideas

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a video content strategy for our brand's social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of video content across all platforms
  • Collaborate with user-generated content creators to develop engaging and shareable video content that aligns with our brand's tone and style
  • Build scripts for video content and work with the production team to ensure seamless execution
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices on social media platforms to inform content creation
  • Create and produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's tone and style, and is optimized for each platform
  • Transition into supporting the advertising content to support impression growth and conversion optimization. This role will eventually have a paid media target towards it as the team members gets introduced to the brand
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product to ensure all content aligns with overall brand messaging and goals
  • Analyze performance metrics and user engagement to optimize content strategy and identify opportunities for growth
  • Stay current with industry standards, trends and innovations in the digital and social media landscape
  • Continually evaluate and refine content strategy to maximize reach and impact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in creating content for brands is a plus
  • Experience working with user-generated content and creators is a plus
