Requirements
- Experience leading a large, omnichannel media activation practice, preferably within an agency setting
- Deep expertise in video media buying across channels (CTV, social, place-based, streaming, online, linear), including activation best practices and strategic use cases for solving client business problems
- Understanding of the video buying market, up to date on changes and news in market, current trends, pricing patterns and predictions, able to provide buying guidance based on the current and predicted future state of the market
- Deep understanding of how measurement works within video platforms. You will collaborate with the Data Science and Analytics teams on measurement best practices
Responsibilities
- Develop and evangelize video strategy and activation frameworks
- Proactively develop video thought leadership pieces, case studies, and POVs for clients and the agency
- Negotiate platform level deals, rates, and unique partner opportunities at the agency level
- Manage platform relationships, including meeting regularly with video platforms and facilitating meetings with Activation, Strategy, and other teams as needed
- Provide feedback to platforms on Goodway Group of Companiesβ strategic needs and the strategic needs of our clients
- Demonstrate strong business acumen in negotiating highly advantageous deals for Goodway Group of Companies
- Ensure that Goodway Group of Companies have access to competitively advantageous data, beta opportunities, and other platform access to keep us ahead of the industry
- Evaluate Goodway Group of Companiesβ spend across video platforms to ensure maximum value and alignment with strategic needs/best practices
- Make recommendations as needed on video partnerships to add/replace (Roku, Tatari, Hulu, etc.) and manage those relationships
- Keep on top of industry and consumer trends in order to see whatβs next for video platforms
- Set, communicate, and audit standards for video excellence across all channels for all Goodway Group of Companies media teams
- Partner with Activation team leaders to enforce video best practices across all platforms
- Facilitate trainings and education on video platforms for the agency and clients as needed
- Partner with other Investment Leads (i.e. Social, Programmatic) as needed to support activation frameworks and investment priorities
- Determine Goodwayβs approach to video delivery metrics (i.e. Nielsen, iSpot, Comscore) and ensure consistency of application across the agency
- Partner with Tech Ops on managing platform access across video platforms
