Summary
Join Discovery Behavioral Health (DBH), a national leader in behavioral healthcare, as a Group Facilitator providing therapeutic treatment emphasizing evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. You will facilitate scheduled groups, document sessions in the EMR, and maintain all applicable licenses and certifications. Collaborate with clinical and program directors to develop comprehensive treatment programs, deliver appropriate group topics, and complete group notes promptly. Adhere to company policies, DMHAS and Joint Commission standards, and participate in staff meetings. This 100% remote role involves leading 3-4 psychoeducational groups daily via a secure Zoom platform, engaging patients, and modifying groups to meet client needs. After 90 days, you're eligible for training with a pay increase. DBH offers competitive compensation ($22-$25/hour), benefits, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in relevant field
- Experience working in behavioral healthcare
- Must Have Stable WIFI, confidential working environment to work remotely
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Clinical Director and/or Program Director and other professional staff to help develop comprehensive program of therapy, evaluation and treatment
- Responsible for delivering appropriate topic to scheduled groups
- Responsible for completing all group notes immediately after leading each group
- Document all services provided in clients medical record
- Knowledge of companyβs policy and procedures, DMHAS and Joint Commission standards and regulations. Adhere to all regulations and maintain accurate and timely client charting in compliance and according to the clinical guidelines
- Periodically participates in staff meeting, providing training with regard to therapeutic services and, mental health topics
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director including but not limited to meeting with clients individually for support
