Remote Virtualization Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Virtualization Engineer and help design, deploy, and manage large-scale virtualization and VDI projects. You'll work on architectural design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of high-performance virtualization platforms, including client hardware, OS, and connection protocols.

Requirements

• Experienced with installing, configuring, upgrading, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtualization platforms
• Strong working knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technologies
• Experienced with investigating performance issues in virtualization environments, including guest OS
• Proficient in creating and maintaining complex powershell scripts to automate routine tasks
• Able to troubleshoot Windows operating systems on virtual platforms
• Good knowledge of networking technologies related to virtualization platforms
• Clear and concise communication skills; has a positive customer service attitude
• A flexible and reliable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage large-scale virtualization and VDI projects
• Work on architectural design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of high-performance virtualization platforms
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate the environment
• Troubleshoot a range of technical issues and clearly document problem resolution using our online knowledge base
