Requirements
- A Master's or PhD degree in Psychology or very closely related field along with 18+ earned graduate credit hours directly in psychology courses is required to be considered for this position
- A minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an online/virtual environment ranked at the position of Instructor or higher is required
- Experientially prepared to teach assigned courses
- Maintain current regulatory and practice credentials, when appropriate, based on assignment
- Possess genuine passion for education and lifelong learning
- Have exceptional subject matter expertise as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are eager to serve students and colleagues with passion, respect and care
- Operate with a sense of responsibility and purpose with the desire to enrich colleagues, students and the broader community
- Are able to provide official transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionally accredited institution
Responsibilities
- Develops and provides students with an approved Adtalem Global Education syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus, and which includes the terminal course objectives
- Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and update all course materials
- Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students
- Models effective oral and written communications that engage the students, provide clarity, and improve student learning
- Sets clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment/examinations dates, and weight the distribution of various evaluation categories
- Ensures that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives
- Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams, and provide timely feedback to students
- Completes other duties as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards

Benefits
- In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience
- Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
- In our U.S. locations, we operate on a hybrid work model with three in-office days and two remote days per week. Starting Q1 2025, we will transition to a four-day in-office schedule, Monday–Thursday
