Summary

Join TailorCare, a remote-first company transforming specialty care, as the Vice President of Clinical Operations. You will lead the development and refinement of TailorCare’s musculoskeletal (MSK) care navigation model, partnering with the Clinical Advisory Board and cross-functional leaders. This role involves designing the technology platform used by clinical staff, ensuring tools and workflows are intuitive and scalable. You will also build and lead a high-performing team of care navigators, overseeing onboarding, training, and ongoing education. The VP will represent TailorCare externally and use data to assess care plan adoption, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about transforming healthcare.

Requirements

  • College degree in business, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field (e.g., BBA, BS, MBA, MHA, MPH) required
  • 10+ years of experience in clinical operations, care management, or healthcare navigation, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare services or tech-enabled organization
  • Proven success designing and scaling clinical programs or care models—particularly those focused on patient education, shared decision-making, and navigation
  • Experience leading the development or implementation of technology platforms used by clinical or non-clinical staff
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Operations
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing, mission-driven teams
  • Comfortable using data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in clinical quality and operational efficiency
  • Passionate about improving the healthcare experience through innovation, personalization, and high-quality patient support

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and refinement of TailorCare’s MSK navigation model, including protocols for patient intake, education, shared decision-making, care planning, and compliance
  • Partner with our engaged Clinical Advisory Board to constantly innovate on the model
  • Serve as the clinical lead for defining workflows and requirements for TailorCare’s care navigation platform
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure clinical tools drive consistency, efficiency, and quality
  • Represent TailorCare externally with clients, new business, and conferences to strengthen our leadership position in the market
  • Build and lead a high performing team of care navigators and other clinical personnel
  • Develop onboarding, training, and ongoing education that aligns with TailorCare’s clinical model
  • Use clinical and operational data to assess care plan adoption, patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational efficiency
  • Leverage the data to measure financial cost savings and patient changes in pain and movement
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure the clinical model aligns with TailorCare’s broader goals and the needs of patients, clients, and referring providers
  • Specifically this role will work hand-in-hand with the VP of Patient Engagement and Experience to ensure the clinical model is creating engaged patients from the initial touch through patient graduation
  • Establish clinical guidelines, documentation standards, and oversight mechanisms to ensure consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical training (e.g., RN, NP, DPT, MD) preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with evidence-based musculoskeletal care and non-surgical care pathways is strongly preferred
