Requirements

• Demonstrated success in building and leading the vision, strategy, and execution of data analytics initiatives
• Experience driving successful data adoption programs, with the ability to demonstrate the business impact of such initiatives
• A data-driven mindset, ensuring that everything built is measured to understand its impact on the business
• Customer centricity: a deep understanding of customer behavior and sentiment, both through data and qualitative discussions
• Highly effective communicator with excellent people instincts; able to build trust and work well with a diverse group internally and externally
• Willingness to lead in a hands-on, high-performance environment
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• High degree of humility and accountability
• Experience leading, growing, and retaining high-performance engineering leadership at the Director+ level

Responsibilities

• Partner on the technical vision and strategy for an accurate, scalable, usable, and reliable data platform and infrastructure
• Manage a centralized data analytics team organization model, creating strong partnerships with revops, engineering, finance, and other cross-functional teams
• Collaborate on the governing principles for data access, accuracy, freshness, and quality across all data organizations at Apollo.io
• Lead and manage the Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Product Analytics functions
• Foster a culture of action bias, product innovation, high performance, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Provide actionable business insights to product and other cross-functional leaders
• Build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that helps all team members feel a sense of belonging
• Partner with product leadership to influence business strategy through data-driven decision-making
• Bring customer-centricity to your teams and to all internal and external stakeholders
• Hire, retain, and scale a world-class data analytics team
