Summary

Join Temporal as our Vice President of People and lead all aspects of our people strategy, from attracting top talent to fostering a culture of inclusion and high performance. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with the leadership team to scale our organization and ensure our people operations are aligned with our business goals. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, develop workforce planning strategies, oversee global talent acquisition and HR operations, design competitive total rewards programs, and build frameworks for a positive employee experience. Requirements

  • 8+ years in HR leadership, with at least 3 years managing remote or distributed teams
  • Proven ability to align people strategy with company goals and scale teams in high-growth environments
  • Deep knowledge of workforce planning, organizational design, and scaling People functions for a global, remote workforce
  • Strong experience in employee relations, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex situations with empathy and fairness
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to inform People strategies and decisions
  • A passion for cultivating a positive and inclusive culture
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance on a global scale
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design and team dynamics
  • Develop workforce planning strategies to align with business priorities, forecast talent needs, and identify gaps in capabilities
  • Oversee global talent acquisition, onboarding, and employer branding to attract top talent
  • Oversee global HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance with local employment laws
  • Design and manage competitive total rewards programs
  • Build frameworks for conflict resolution, employee feedback, and escalation paths, fostering a positive employee experience
  • Champion a remote-first culture that prioritizes collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation
